Well, I was going to wait until all the challenge posts had been presented before I barged in with a second page layout...but I just had to get this up and out there.
I did not continue the circle theme on this page but proceeded to try a few new things for me. I was just important for me to finish recording my wonderful day out at the zoo.
I was in love with the Hydrangeas in the gardens at the zoo. What I did here was to take two photos of essentially the same cluster and reverse print one so that I could get the feel of being all one bush of blooms, close up.
With the sunflowers I used the exact same photo and reversed printed one. I used a 3x6 section of one photo and 3x4 section of the other. Now it would have been great if the reverse print had printed out as planned, but it didn't and it re-sized the printing area so that I now have an image that is not going to be mirror imaged, but in the long run does look like the flowers are receding and dropping away from me on the right, not unlike the actual area in the garden...so...sometimes things work out in the end. That and I'm too cheap to print something a second time if I don't have to!

This page runs a panoramic photo across the top of a view of the gardens and waterfall, and the caterpillar for the kids. A lantern on the side of one of the walls really captivated me and I had to include it, even though it wasn't in the gardens. My center focal photo was cropped to feature Izzy and is mounted on a Robin's Egg Paper Tile.

I've hidden my journaling under the doors. I've mounted the photo a on black cardstock top folded card.
Using a technique I've shown before HERE where the layout is sliced along the top edge of the card and then slid the top flap through so it can open while the rest of the journaling remains covered.
So there you are...hope you enjoyed your trip to my local zoo!!
