My Beautiful Girl

The photo on the page above has always been one of my favorites. As a mom, I want my daughters to feel beautiful - This photo is one of my favorites of Alexis because I think she felt beautiful that day.

We were surrounded by beauty (at Longwood Gardens in PA) and she is wearing an adorable new summer dress (what is it about a new dress that makes us girls feel so good?) The combination added up to a delightful day of picture taking. :)

What I like about this besides the lovely picture, of course! is how you use decorative paper to enhance the layout. I am going to try this the next MM layout I do!

I think of all the photos you have posted of Alexis, this is the best! There is just a spark of the woman she will become in this that you can't help but see. Loved it on your blog, thought I had commented, but realized...you'd reposted here too! Some days I think my brain has been replaced by a sieve!
