MMDT June Challenge #1 AIR
In this challenge we were asked to photograph a person, match an element to their personality and explain why we think they match. I chose these pictures of my husband taken very recently on our trip to Argentina. As you can see, he loves yoga and while traveling from Salta to Cafayate, we stopped to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Andes Mountains. He was so inspired by his surroundings that he spontaneously started doing yoga poses. Air was an easy choice since he also loves hiking and climbing, but mostly because the practice of yoga requires mindful breathing while getting into and out of your pose.

This is a perfect tribute to Alan. The use of color, the pictures and symbols chosen and your placement give the page a zen like quality adding to the theme. Your work is beautiful!

The background of the Andes is the perfect setting for the element of air. I felt a great sense of peace and an understanding of the art of Yoga.

A very striking layout, Beth! So very balanced with photos, journalling and colors. Love the chip board "air" letters that finish off the tower of symbols so nicely. Your air photos were a great idea. Well done!

I love the symbols. I absolutely love this layout. It is one of my all-time favorites from all our design challenges and definitely my favorite of this round. So impressive! I love how you take the one element - air - that makes me think "how do you photograph that?" and make it so vivid!!! awesome job!
