When we are stuck indoors, or when friends come over, we often pull out the scrabble game or a deck of cards. Since I am the chief photographer, I especially like to document the times when I win the game! I also take an extra picture of the game and score sheet just in case I need it for a scrapbook page.
This challenge called for a 2.125 inch square as a prominent feature. I used 8 of these size pictures along with 2 larger photos. In between I used many 1inch squares which looked plain until I thought to make them appear as dice since we've recently discovered the game LCR (a dice game).
The title was a challenge. I used my slice machine to make the letters but they were too large. I also pulled out the old sizzix but those letters were too large too. They sit it a pile on my workspace for now until I find a use for them. (See below)
I inked the edges of the teal paper and ended up just using stickers for the title as it was getting late and I was out of creative ideas. I enjoyed making this page since it reminded me of the times we played those games.
And to continue on the line of not following instructions as one of my design team partners spoke of, I used my Lotus paper for this challenge. I saw Lotus under February and didn't realize I need it for the next challenge! I guess I need to place an order....
