Using the featured grid paper Mist and page pattern #29, I decided on a 2-page layout, because I wanted to use all the pictures I had of this event. My husband went to Rosecrans Field in St. Joseph, Missouri and flew in an antique plane over the Kansas City Chiefs training camp at Missouri Western College. The Mist paper was perfect for the metallic color of the plane.
I used a strip of cloud paper for the heading and curved the words (Tami's Juicy Words stamps) to "simulate" flying. I silhouetted the emblem and used pop dots to make it stand out. For page two, I featured parts of the plane. I modified the arrangement but wanted to complement the first page by mostly using the same 2 1/8" squares. The journaling boxes were Tami's Sticky Face Basic Shapes matted on dark grey (like the other mats and fillers).
