Kevin and I went to Valley Forge for the CK convention. I always try to plan some fun activities during the non-show hours. One of the things on my "fun stuff to do" list was to get cheese steak at the famous Geno's.
We got there at a good time - (early evening on a Thursday) the lines weren't running all the way down the street as they often can.
The steaks were good - however, we have a old favorite we like more.
Jim's steak's are not as well advertised as Geno's but, ohhh so good. There is very little parking available near the South Street location, and it wasn't exactly the "cleanest" part of town. Kevin dropped me off and drove around the block several times while I ordered. The lines are long but they move quickly. It was well worth the hassle.
May be next year we will try Pat's (across the street from Geno's) or may be we will go back to the safe favorite (Jim's.)
