Sorry this posting for the page inspired by the snow queen is so late! I know the contest is over, but I wanted to post these pages anyway. In the middle of January Ted's Mom passed away. We have been busy with other things. I just finished the journaling yesterday. The title is simply 2014. This winter Missouri has had more ice, snow and cold weather than I can remember. Below is page 1:
The gazebo is in our subdivision dividing the east and west sides of the lake. It looked real pretty in the snow. The horses and fountain see page three journaling. The geese showed up one afternoon across from my house. The lake had turned to ice and there was some water on the top causing cool reflections. The geese looked like they were ice skating. Below the beautiful ice cycle was hanging off a gutter at my local doctor's office.
Below note the snow falling off my roof. When I took this photo I did not see it. I only noticed this after I went to get photos printed!
Page two below shows some of the horse farm, a small bird eating thistle seed on my porch, a sign I put out every winter and the geese parade to the open water.
Page three has more photos of the horse farm and the journaling that makes this place so special to me.
A larger version of the journaling.
Hope you enjoyed them!
