Hello ladies!
Before I left this morning the cable and internet were down so I put off doing this and went to move another load of books to their new home. The day has been long, but like you I’m eager to see who the winner is in this Scavenger Hunt Challenge!!
This has been like being forced to choose one of your children as a favorite! No fair!! This was hard!! Your hard work showed and it paid off in wonderful pages and hopefully from the sounds of it wonderful memories!!
I sat up last night till I was bleary eyed and barely awake examining all the shots and all the journaling and all the post notes. I enjoyed hearing about your adventures to get all your photos, and to the lengths you went to get them. I’m glad that many of you shared the adventure with a spouse or friend! I was pleased to hear how many of you have a new appreciation for the small things, the common things, and the often overlooked items. I’m sure you’ll continue to look for these things to include in future pages you do.
I’m surprised that no one thought of having someone toss a bunch of leaves in the air to shoot them coming down!! You will next time! Was that someone groaning??
To get some of your macro shots just the way you want, experiment with your “crop” tool in your photo program to frame out what you want.
In the end, I went to the final instructions I gave concerning how a winner would be determined, they are:
Everyone played by the rules!
Everyone collected many of items on the lists, some a variety of each item.
Everyone’s photos were great. Wonderful scenes, terrific close-ups, and spectacular macro shots, well done!! I’m so thrilled with the photos you all shot, I hope you are too! Keep up the great work!!
In the end it came down to color, creativity and design.
The winning layout made a good Mosaic Moments Grid color choice for the photos used, chose a variety of photo sizes, was creative with the title and added a decorative touch to the journal box. The overall presentation well balanced.
Her online post added details not include in the layout, including a slip of the tongue that had us all wondering what we were missing on our computers…a ‘macro setting on my computer’ !!
The winner of the Captain’s Challenge…the Scavenger Hunt, is....
Candy Spiegel.
Congratulations, Candy!
I’ll be in touch with you soon with the prize code info.
Congratulations, Candy!
