What are the first things that come to mind when you READ this: FOOTPRINT
1. First thing was the very poem you shared. I always enjoyed it. I know it's been around a long time, and a lot of people may make fun of it...but it is very true and comforting.
2. Second thing was a cartoon my cousin shared on FB just a few weeks back quoting the poem in the first block and then in the second it reads..."that long groove over there...is when I dragged you for a while" and that too is true...and comforting.
3. The third thing I thought of was sparked by the Footprints title it's self. I have a pin that is a pair of tiny feet that I started wearing back in 1980 that are the actual size of a baby's feet at 10 weeks old in the womb. A powerful reminder of the sanctity of human life.
